ONE TEAM

We are One Team with the client, and we are One Team internally. This is fundamental to how we work and succeed. It means less distance, closer collaboration, and greater empathy.

EXTERNALLY

We work with the client as a trusted partner, not for the client as a traditional contract supplier. We do not enter into traditional client-supplier relationships, where the wording of the contract inflexibly defines throughout the assignment what can and cannot be done.

We are uncompromising in our focus on objectives and our determination to succeed. Therefore, we must be flexible regarding what it takes to reach the goal. We leverage the fact that, together with the client, we gain new input, experiences, and reactions throughout the assignment to, if necessary, adjust our deliverables along the way in order to best achieve the goal. We typically enter into fixed-price agreements with our clients. If, during the assignment, we identify a need to do something beyond what was originally agreed, we will of course do so.

With us, the client is a co-creator of the solution—and we are co-creators of the change within the client organisation. We do not produce an analysis and leave all thoughts on how it should be executed to the client. Nor do we pretend that we know everything about the client’s business and therefore do not need to involve the client in the actual delivery of the assignment. Our experience is that quality and energy come from involvement and close collaboration throughout the assignment. Therefore, we are a little closer to the client than is normal in the industry—we share knowledge, ideas, and concerns openly, and we also dare to have fun with our clients.

INTERNALLY

We are One Team, with a shared responsibility towards our clients and each other. Therefore, we do not accept lone wolves who are self-sufficient and do not care about the overall assignment or any tasks other than their own ongoing ones. At Factor3, we know each other, we spar with each other, we share knowledge, ideas, and experience with each other, and we stand by each other. The tone in the office is distinctly informal, and our social events are truly festive.

We have an incentive system so that each consultant’s self-interest aligns with Factor3’s overall interest. This means that we demand and expect a great deal from each other—that we constantly challenge and inspire each other to do things a little better. No one at Factor3 works alone on an assignment or faces a challenge alone. Behind every solution or recommendation one of our consultants provides stands the entire Factor3 team.
