We strive to create Exceptional Results together with our clients. Results that make a difference\u2014beyond the ordinary and beyond expectations.<\/p>

This places particular demands on the way we work. While good results often come from doing the same thing again and again, Exceptional Results come from the opposite\u2014always delivering a service uniquely tailored to each client\u2019s situation and needs.<\/p>

EXTERNAL<\/h3>

No two clients are the same, and therefore we never solve two assignments in the same way. We have no standard solutions, and we do not presume to know the right solution before we understand the right problem. The client\u2019s unique and fundamental situation and needs are always our starting point\u2014for every proposal we develop and every solution we implement.<\/p>

This also means that we place great emphasis on clarifying the core of the issue and the need we are met with. This often requires us to challenge the client\u2019s immediate perception of the situation. Therefore, as a client of Factor3, you should not expect to be told what you want to hear\u2014nor will you ever be talked down to. We say what we believe needs to be said. In return, you can expect that we stand 100% behind what we say and do, and that we help deliver and support all the way through to achieving results.At Factor3, we do not have one team that sells (and promises) and another that delivers. We always work with the same team on the assignment\u2014from the initial dialogue to the final follow-up on results. We believe that Exceptional Results require a close relationship, deep insight into the assignment, and a direct link between what is promised and what is delivered.<\/p>

INTERNAL<\/h3>

We want to be the best at what we do, and therefore there is also a great deal we do not do. We work with Strategy Management Consulting\u2014nothing else. We do not provide leadership development or sales training; we do not run Lean or IT projects; we do not advise specifically on outsourcing and procurement optimisation; and we do not recruit on behalf of our clients. Others are better at that than we are. However, we are convinced that no one is better than us when it comes to advising on companies\u2019 overall strategy work\u2014what we call Strategy Management Consulting. That is where our focus lies, and where we create exceptional results.<\/p>

Abraham Maslow once said that \u201cif the only tool you own is a hammer, all your problems will look like nails\u201d. Throughout our careers in the consulting industry, we have seen this \u201chammer-and-nail principle\u201d play out far too often. We therefore promise our clients that we will not reach for our tools until we know and understand their challenges and needs. That is why we have no standard solutions and do not develop meaningless off-the-shelf concepts. Instead, we have a broad set of concepts and methods that we combine, scale, and further develop into a unique overall solution for each individual client.<\/p>

This places particularly high demands on our employees\u2019 professional competencies and personal qualities, and on the way we work together. Professional depth and the ability to work analytically and in a structured manner are essential to joining Factor3, but just as important is that you are humble, attentive, and able to work in close dialogue with our clients. Our clients should not only appreciate our work\u2014they should also like us as people.<\/p>

We do not require all our consultants to be able to do the same things. On the contrary, we see a major advantage in each of us having particular strengths within Strategy Management Consulting that can be drawn upon, depending on the needs of each assignment. Therefore, at Factor3 it is not necessarily the person who answers the phone who should be involved in solving the assignment. We always let the assignment define the best Factor3 team for the task.
